The most effective method in developing and improving health is considered to be daily exercise. I agree that exercise is the key to health. However, I also believe that diet is important.


Exercising regularly is a crucial factor in maintaining a sound mind and body, as well as preventing diseases. Walking at least thirty minutes a day can improve one’s metabolism, which results in weight loss. Moreover, It also promotes the release of endorphins and other hormones that help to combat mental illnesses. Furthermore, it has been proven that a well-rounded routine of exercise helps to decrease the risk of chronic diseases, the effects of stress and high blood pressure.


On the other hand, what we put into our bodies makes a huge difference and the benefits of eating a healthy diet are as numerous as the benefits of the exercises. For example, an unhealthy diet can lead to obesity, which may increase the chances of a person to develop cancer. However, weighing within a healthy range may reduce this risk. Nevertheless, rich nutrition that emphasizes the consumption of food from plant sources, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, fish and olive oil while avoiding processed foods, will help to protect one’s body against cancer and other diseases.


In conclusion, exercise and diet are both important for a long-term vibrant healthy lifestyle. Therefore, finding a way to include regular exercise and healthier food choices will certainly help to avoid unwanted diseases and lead a happy life.
