Find the main idea and the most important supporting points. Join them in one complete sentence. Check the meaning, grammar and word count.
A practical preparation method
Find the main claim and the strongest supporting relationship. Combine them into one accurate sentence, then check grammar, punctuation and the required word count.
Follow the form: Write one sentence of 5–75 words. Start with a capital letter and use one full stop at the end. Join ideas clearly: Use linking words and clauses to connect the main idea with important support.
The common mistake to avoid
Students often collect details without expressing the central claim, create an uncontrolled run-on sentence or forget the one-sentence and word-limit rules.
Practise a small number of attempts carefully, identify the repeated problem and correct that problem before increasing speed or volume.
What scoring information matters
If you misunderstand the topic, the whole answer may score zero. If you break the sentence or word-count rules, the whole answer may score zero.
Use official scoring information to understand the task, but use teacher feedback to identify the language or delivery habit that needs attention next.
