Who is the authority?
Architects Accreditation Council of Australia (AACA), followed where relevant by the state or territory Architects Registration Board.
Overseas qualification assessment
AACA's OQA determines whether an overseas academic qualification is comparable to a current Australian accredited architecture qualification and can also support a migration assessment.
Registration comes later
A suitable qualification pathway can lead towards the Architectural Practice Examination or another eligible route before an application to a state or territory registration board.
