Lead PTE teacher · Course co-developer
Maria Jose (Majo)
Majo is our lead PTE teacher. She teaches Master English’s online PTE group class and offers one-to-one PTE training, helping students connect their practice with a clear next step.
A PTE course built together
Majo was trained by Maher Itani. Together, they developed Master English’s current PTE training course.
She is the inspiration behind our PTE Student Tracking System and the course’s student-first focus: understanding where each student is now and what they need to work on next.
Meet the person behind the lessons
Originally from Colombia, Majo is a university student in Sydney. Outside her studies and teaching, she loves to dance.
Teacher training
Majo attended IDP Education’s IELTS teacher-training workshop, IELTS Behind the Scenes – Sydney, on 17 November 2025. Her certificate records attendance at this professional-development workshop.
